Meet Ivo
I feel most at home when I'm truly interacting with people—in conversations where space opens up, things fall into place, and what seems complicated becomes simple again.
As a coach, I don’t help you work harder on yourself. I listen, explore things with you, and create space for clarity, freedom, and new possibilities.
My Story
Ever since I was young, I’ve been curious about how the human mind works—about why we sometimes get moving effortlessly, while at other times we get stuck in our thinking.
At a young age, I was given the opportunity to become the director of a fast-growing temporary staffing and secondment agency. It was a valuable experience during which I learned a great deal about leadership, entrepreneurship, and communication—but also about myself. I realized how hard we can be on ourselves and how much energy it takes to constantly try to maintain control.
What I ultimately found most interesting wasn’t necessarily the company’s growth, but rather the interaction with people. Conversations in which things became clear. Moments when tension gave way to a sense of openness, and what had been complicated felt simpler again. A nice side effect of that clarity was that performance improved as well.
After selling the company, I continued working as a coach and HR strategist. I am trained in NLP and as a Three Principles Practitioner. In my work, I draw inspiration from Michael Neill and Byron Katie, among others.
In my personal life, I’m married and the proud dad of twins. That brings a lot of love, wonder, and a healthy dose of perspective. Ever since they arrived, I’ve been dancing around the room with my girls on a regular basis—something I’ve always enjoyed, but now I have an even better excuse to do it more often. I also love water sports and enjoy surfing, kitesurfing, and sailing.
My coaching style is attentive, curious, and unhurried. I don’t believe you need to constantly improve yourself. Often, change happens precisely when you stop fighting what is and take an open-minded look at what truly feels right.
That’s how I want to be there for you, too: not as someone who has all the answers, but as a fellow human being who truly listens, asks insightful questions, and works with you to create space for your own clarity.
Curious to see what happens when we explore together what’s on your mind?
